Choose your download
Your purchase includes two formats. Choose M4B for one audiobook file with chapters (about 483 MB), or the MP3 ZIP for 46 ordered tracks, cover art, and this guide (about 1.1 GB). You do not need both.
Use Wi-Fi and allow several gigabytes of free space if downloading and extracting the ZIP. Open the private download page from your purchase email, choose a format, and wait for the download to finish. Keep that email for later.
iPhone or iPad: M4B with BookPlayer
1. Install BookPlayer by Tortuga Software from the App Store. It supports importing your own audiobook files; find the official app through the link below.
2. Download the M4B using Safari. Open Files, tap Browse, and find Downloads under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone. If the browser opens a player, use Share > Save to Files.
3. In Files, press and hold the downloaded M4B, choose Share, then BookPlayer (look under More if needed). Alternatively, use the import/add-files option inside BookPlayer and select it in Files.
4. Wait for the import, then open the book in BookPlayer. Use the chapter list to navigate. Download the file fully before relying on offline playback. Button names can vary by app version.
Android: local audio with VLC
1. Install VLC for Android by Videolabs from Google Play, using the official VideoLAN link below. Download either format using your browser.
2. For MP3: open Files by Google, locate the ZIP in Downloads, tap it, and choose Extract. Keep the numbered MP3 files together in the extracted folder. M4B does not need extracting.
3. Open VLC and allow access to your audio files. Use Browse to locate Downloads and open the M4B, or open the extracted MP3 folder and add the tracks to a playlist.
4. Keep MP3 tracks in number order and turn shuffle off. Chapter menus and remembered position vary by player; if the M4B chapter menu is unavailable, use the MP3 tracks.
Listen on a computer or in Apple apps
Mac: Apple Books
1. Download the M4B to your Mac. Open Books and choose File > Import, then select the downloaded audiobook.
2. Open it from your Books library to listen. If your Mac does not accept the file, use VLC or import the extracted MP3 tracks instead.
3. To listen in Apple Books on iPhone/iPad, connect it to your Mac, unlock it, and trust the computer if prompted. In Finder, select the device, open Audiobooks, select this title for syncing, and click Apply or Sync.
Review sync selections before applying changes so you do not replace other content unintentionally. Importing an audiobook on your Mac does not mean it will automatically appear on your phone.
Apple Music: MP3 chapters
1. Download and extract the MP3 ZIP on your computer. On Mac, double-click the ZIP. On Windows, right-click it and choose Extract All.
2. In Music on Mac, choose File > Import and select the MP3 tracks. In Apple Music on Windows, use Import from the sidebar actions menu. Keep the album together and shuffle off.
3. To transfer to iPhone, use Music syncing in Finder on Mac, or the Apple Devices app on Windows. Select the album and Apply/Sync. If you already use Sync Library, follow your existing setup; upload eligibility and availability can vary.
A ZIP downloaded on iPhone does not import directly into Apple Music. For phone-only listening, use an importing player such as BookPlayer instead.
Windows, Mac, and other MP3 players
VLC on Windows or Mac can open the M4B directly. For the MP3 album, extract the ZIP first and open the numbered audio files in VLC or a compatible music player. Sort by track number and turn shuffle off.
For a portable MP3 player, connect it to your computer and copy the extracted MP3 folder using its transfer instructions. Use MP3 if the device does not support M4B. The included playlist is optional.
Troubleshooting and help
If a download will not open
Check that downloading has finished and that you have enough storage. A ZIP must be extracted before its MP3 tracks will play. An M4B is already an audio file and should not be unzipped.
If a file link has expired, reopen the private download page from your purchase email and click the download button again. Individual file links last one hour; the private page provides fresh links after verifying your purchase.
If a file is incomplete or playback stops unexpectedly, delete only the incomplete copy and download again over Wi-Fi. Try the other included format if your player does not support the first.
Offline, chapters, and account libraries
Import or save the actual audio on your device before going offline. A cloud icon or browser preview can mean the audio is still online. Briefly test playback in airplane mode after downloading.
The MP3 album has 46 ordered tracks: opening credits, 44 sections, and closing credits. Use track-number order, disable shuffle, and use bookmarks if your player does not remember your place.
This website purchase does not add a title to your Audible account or unlock a store purchase in Apple Books, Apple Music, or Spotify. Use the supplied files with a compatible player. Store editions are separate purchases.
